wewow have seized the opportunity to raise awareness of climate change and the positive changes that can be made if companies and individuals work together to reduce their carbon emissions and waste.
During Climate Week 2011, wewow will be launch their WOW campaign:
War On Waste
Throughout the week, wewow will be encouraging local printers and finishers to reduce the amount of waste they produce by finding innovative ways to re-use and upcycle waste materials, such as waste board from print runs.
wewow will take the lead by producing out of waste board, donated to us by a local printer, 3,000 bespoke boxes for a London-based charity. The charity will be receiving 3,000 high-quality boxes free of charge and wewow will have successfully diverted a large amount of unwanted board from landfill!
wewow’s innovative upcycling will continue throughout the week as we endeavour innovate a number of new packaging solutions which can be produced from waste materials!
This is just the beginning of the WOW campaign as wewow will continue to promote the message of reuse, reduce, recycle throughout the year.
